How to install smart tv PTCL APP
The application is available in app stores under the name “PTCL Smart TV.” Follow the below instruction for the installation:
- Android users can visit the Google Play Store and IOS users can visit the iTunes Apps Store.
- The APP does not work outside of Pakistan. So make sure you have selected Countries like “Pakistan” when registering on the App Store to download the APP.
Smart Tv PTCL APP – Registration Process
- You must download and install the Smart TV APP , then click the sign-up button.
- Select the Billing mode.
- A new form will open, then provide all the valid information and press the submit button.
- You will receive a confirmation call based on the PTCL IVR on your registered landline / mobile number.
- During this automated call, press 1 to enter the Smart TV APP command.
- After which the services will be activated.
- Customers can call PTCL Order Number 0800-80-800 for Smart TV Control.
Please ensure that you enter the correct mobile/landline number and e-mail address in the PTCL systems. Your login credentials and other communications will be retained via your registered Mobile / Email ID.
PVR Function in PTCL Smart Tv APP
The Personal Video Recorder (PVR) feature allows PTCL Smart users to schedule the recording of their favorite programs. The registration can be arranged for the next 4 days.
- The most amazing feature is to select the program of your favorite channels.
- To schedule your recording, you can press the yellow button on your remote control.
- If the program is broadcast, the recording will be available in the record management.
- You can access the recording by pressing the red button on the remote control.
- There will be a registered program list. You can watch your recorded programs whenever you want.
